Supply Chain Manager
Description

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role is at the helm of the Supply Chain leading demand, supply and production planning, as well as purchasing. The role also manages one direct report that oversees inventory control, as well as a dotted line to the Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will work directly with each function of the business, building collaboration finance, operations, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Serve as Supply Chain/ Ops lead for all new product launches and innovation projects to ensure we bring amazing new food SKUs to market on time and under budget
  • Lead the monthly S&OP process to create consensus purchase & production plans
  • Create master plan and line schedule for all manufacturing and co-packer locations

Procurement

  • Issue and track purchase orders via QuickBooks for all raw materials and co-packed products
  • Create and maintain a PO log to perform analysis related to supplier performance

Strategy

  • Oversee Supplier Relationship Management
    Document purchasing strategies for assigned commodities to manage risk and support the growth of the business
  • Develop and execute Objectives, Strategies and Metrics that support the company‚Äôs growth plans
  • Build and maintain Supply Chain processes and master data

Inventory Control and Transportation

  • Directly oversee the Supply Chain Analyst responsible for inventory accuracy by lot code. Dotted line reporting of the Logistics Coordinator who manages modes of transportation and order tracking
Qualifications

Supply Chain Experience

  • Progressive growth experience in Supply Chain, with direct experience in S&OP and purchasing
  • Excellent command of bills of materials, MRP, and negotiation
  • Good knowledge of inventory control principles and document management related to inventory traceability

Communication & Analysis Expertise

  • Strong communication and the ability to deal with tough situations and share bad news with a focus on solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including advanced Excel and reporting experience
  • Skills in project management, delegating, training, prioritization, and process documentation
